Move keyword search results into a report

After you run a search on your keywords, you can select the results you want and move them across into the reportA set of data deliberately laid out to communicate business information. Depending on the context, 'report' may refer to report specification or report output. Report (more precisely, report specification) is the generic term for the objects created or edited in Cognos Analytics. Pronto Xi Business Intelligence offers a suite of standard reports..

  1. Select the results you want to use for the report:

    1. For all entries, click Select all and click Insert.

    2. For specific entries, select the items you need and click Insert.

      Use the Shift and Ctrl keys to select consecutive or individual items.

      The entries to search on are listed in the Choice box.

  2. To remove entries from the Choice box, use the Shift or Ctrl keys, or Select all to select the items to remove and click Remove.

  3. Click Finish to run the report.

    If you run the report again from the report result page using , any keyword search parameters you used in the original run are retained. You need to manually clear the keyword selections if you don't want to use them again.
