What is in this report?
proj07Aggregations by cost category and cost category type. It includes a wide choice of date-based options and data content.
Date selections act on two levels:

How do I use it?
Sort options:

Sort By — sortArrange elements of a list in a certain order. The most-used orders are numerical order and lexicographical order. by project, parent project, branch, project manager, customer, cost category, or cost category type

Pronto Xi Business Intelligence offers a suite of standard reports. by cost category, cost category type or both
If Both is selected, two reports are produced within the single pass.

Period — control the filtering for project activities
This determines the month for Month to Date facts, but also sets the period boundaries for the Year To Date facts if selected under Mode below. -
Mode — select any combination of Month to Date, Year to Date and Job to Date to be included

Show Budget Variances — show or hide value and percentage budget variances

Show Facts — select required facts to report (Amount, Hours, Quantity)

Project Level — specify whether you want to see the project or parentA member of a hierarchy to which the child members belong. The “Parent” function is part of the family set of functions and returns the parent member of the specified member. For example: SELECT Parent( [Time].[Year].[Period].[July 2010] ) ON Rows FROM [General Ledger] Result: 2010 (the year 2010 is the parent of [July 2010]) project for the following filters:

(Parent) Project Date Type — choose one of five date types from the project master file to govern the project date selection

(Parent) Project Date Selection — define the report time frame for filtering Projects (for example, show all, entered dates, calendar YTD, and so on)

(Parent) Project — provides search options:
- Project Code Entry — enter a single project code, or a range
- Project Code Search — search by project code and multi select

(Parent) Project Customer — provides search options:
- Customer Code Entry — enter a single customer code, or a range
- Customer Code Search — search by customer code and multi select
- Keyword Search — search through all customer keywords

Other available project master related filters include Project Manager, Project Status, Branch, Job Type, Project Type, Nature Type, Market Type, and Work Type.
Other non-project master related filters include Cost Category and Cost Category Type.
What can I do in the report?
You can sort by project, parent project, branch, project manager, customer, cost category, or cost category type.
