What is in this report?

proj10Project transactions posted to General Ledger WIP accounts to assist reconciliation of high levelIn a hierarchy, a level indicates a group of common or related members. For example, in a Time level, members may include Year, Month, Day or Fiscal Year, Calendar Year, etc. WIP values.

How do I use it?

Sort options:

• Sort By — sortArrange elements of a list in a certain order. The most-used orders are numerical order and lexicographical order. by project, parent project, branch, projectIn Framework Manager, a set of models, packages, and related information for administration, and for sharing model information.In Metric Studio, a project is a task or set of tasks undertaken by a team and monitored on a scorecard. A project tracks the dates, resources and status of the project.In Metric Designer, a project is a group of extracts. Each extract contains the metadata that is used to populate the Metric Studio data store or to create applications. manager, customer, or cost category

• Secondary Sort By — specify a secondary sort order

FiltersSelectively remove data from view. include:

• Show Project Detail — trigger an additional print area containing project related information including Customer, Last Invoice Date, Project Manager and Project Status.

  Available when Project is selected in the Secondary Sort By

• Suppress When the Selected Has No Value — filter out any project where the selected facts (Contract, Income, Cost, Budget) have zero value.

  Default is No Suppression.

• Show Facts — select any combination of contract, budget and forecast facts

• Project Level — specify whether you want to see the project or parentA member of a hierarchy to which the child members belong. The “Parent” function is part of the family set of functions and returns the parent member of the specified member. For example: SELECT Parent( [Time].[Year].[Period].[July 2010] ) ON Rows FROM [General Ledger] Result: 2010 (the year 2010 is the parent of [July 2010]) project for the following filters:

  • (Parent) Project Date Type — choose one of five date types from the project master file to govern the project date selection

  • (Parent) Project Date Selection — define the reportA set of data deliberately laid out to communicate business information. Depending on the context, 'report' may refer to report specification or report output. Report (more precisely, report specification) is the generic term for the objects created or edited in Cognos Analytics. Pronto Xi Business Intelligence offers a suite of standard reports. time frame for filtering Projects (for example, show all, entered dates, calendar YTD, and so on)

  • (Parent) Project — provides search options:

    • Project Code Entry — enter a single project code, or a range
    • Project Code Search — search by project code and multi select

  • (Parent) Project Customer — provides search options:

    • Customer Code Entry — enter a single customer code, or a range
    • Customer Code Search — search by customer code and multi select
    • Keyword Search — search through all customer keywords

Other available project master related filters include Project Manager, Project Status, Branch, Job Type, Project Type, Nature Type, Market Type, and Work Type.

To aid readability, colour coding is applied to the cells reporting the various value sets as follows:

• Contract 999.99

• Actual 999.99

• Budget 999.99

• Forecast 999.99

• Sales to Go 999.99

What can I do in the report?

You can sort by project, parent project, branch, project manager, customer, or cost category.
