How do I use it?

Sort options:

• Sort By — sortArrange elements of a list in a certain order. The most-used orders are numerical order and lexicographical order. by project, parent project, branch, projectIn Framework Manager, a set of models, packages, and related information for administration, and for sharing model information.In Metric Studio, a project is a task or set of tasks undertaken by a team and monitored on a scorecard. A project tracks the dates, resources and status of the project.In Metric Designer, a project is a group of extracts. Each extract contains the metadata that is used to populate the Metric Studio data store or to create applications. manager, customer, cost category, cost category type, employee, or department

• Secondary Sort By — specify a secondary sort order

FiltersSelectively remove data from view. include:

• Show Summary — display or hide the timesheet summary data

  The report will always present the underlying details at the project levelIn a hierarchy, a level indicates a group of common or related members. For example, in a Time level, members may include Year, Month, Day or Fiscal Year, Calendar Year, etc..

• Report Format — select a data column layout

• Timesheet Status — select the timesheet status on which to report

  Defaults to select all timesheet records.

• Overtime Scale Factor — factor in overtime

  Options include using the TI system tableAn object that is made up of rows and columns and stores the data in an RDBMS. or the manually entered default factors which may be overridden on the second promptA report element that asks for prompt values on which to filter or sort a report. page.

• Date Type — select either Worked Date or Posted Date on which to report

• Worked Date Selection — setA selection of members in a dimension the date range for the report

• Employees — enter a single employee code, a range of codes, or search for employee codes

• Project Level — specify whether you want to see the project or parentA member of a hierarchy to which the child members belong. The “Parent” function is part of the family set of functions and returns the parent member of the specified member. For example: SELECT Parent( [Time].[Year].[Period].[July 2010] ) ON Rows FROM [General Ledger] Result: 2010 (the year 2010 is the parent of [July 2010]) project for the following filters:

  • (Parent) Project Manager
  • (Parent) Project Status
  • (Parent) Project Branch
  • (Parent) Project Job Type
  • (Parent) Project Type
  • (Parent) Project Work Type

  • (Parent) Project — enter a single project code, a range of codes, or search for project codes

Other non-project master related filters include Payroll Number, Pay Point, Timesheet Category, Work Category, and Cost Category.

What can I do in the report?

You can sort by project, parent project, branch, project manager, customer, cost category, cost category type, employee, or department.

You can filter by Show Summary, Report Format, and Overtime Scale Factor.
