What is in this report?

gl09Period movement for selected chart segment.

Compares selected month with prior month or average of previous 12 months based on a selected percentage variance.

How do I use it?

FiltersSelectively remove data from view. include:

• Period — select the General Ledger period

• Variance Type — compare the selected period movement to either the prior period or the average of the previous 12 periods

• Variance Threshold % — specify the variance threshold percentage

• Use Variance as a Filter — select whether or not to use the variance threshold to filter

• Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss or Both — select whether to show the reportA set of data deliberately laid out to communicate business information. Depending on the context, 'report' may refer to report specification or report output. Report (more precisely, report specification) is the generic term for the objects created or edited in Cognos Analytics. Pronto Xi Business Intelligence offers a suite of standard reports. as a balance sheet, a profit and loss statement, or both

• Z Accounts — select whether to include, exclude, or show only the Z accounts

• Show Zero Balance/Inactive Accounts — select whether or not to show or hide accounts that are either inactive or have a zero balance

• Account Type — select one or more account types

• Chart Segment — select the chart segment on which to report

• Natural Account — select one or more natural accounts

• Chart Filter 1 — select a criteria type for the first filter

• <Criteria> — specify the criteria value

• Chart Filter 2 — select a criteria type for the second filter

• <Criteria> — specify the criteria value

• Chart Filter 3 — select a criteria type for the third filter

• <Criteria> — specify the criteria value

For the period selected, you can select a section of the master chart for which to show movements.

Three chart filters, based on sections of the master chart, allow you to target the analysisA process where a user interacts with data to gain insight and understanding.. A variance threshold highlights period movements where the absolute percentage variance is greater than the threshold you entered. Drill-throughs provide transactional reports for the period movement.

What can I do in the report?

You can filter by Period, Variance Type, Variance Threshold %, Use Variance as a Filter, and Show Zero Balance/Inactive Accounts.
