What is in this report?

gl03_2Standard profit and loss statement on GL Hierarchy 100, including MTD and YTD values for accounts that have values.

Report (more precisely, report specification) is the generic term for the objects created or edited in Cognos Analytics. Pronto Xi Business Intelligence offers a suite of standard reports. is hard-coded to use Hierarchy #100 and this hierarchyIn Analytics Dashboards, regular dimensions contain descriptive and business key information and this information is organised into a hierarchy; from it's highest level of granularity, to its lowest. The hierarchy contains multiple levels. For example, a hierarchy that has three levels such as "All Products", "Product Group", and "Products". must be populated for the report to display. If it’s not populated, the report will return a page with column headings and the two prompts only, with no rows and no data.

How do I use it?

Select Summary or Detail to viewA set of data connected to a cube, deliberately laid out to communicate business information. the summary or detail version of the report.

FiltersSelectively remove data from view. include:

• Layout — select either multi period report, or MTD and YTD

  MTD & YTD show a single point in time, MTD (Month to Date), LY MTD (Last Year MTD), YTD (Year to Date), LY YTD (Last Year YTD) and LY Full Year (Last Year Full Year)

  Multi Period shows all periods in a financial year up to the period selected.

• Period — select the General Ledger period

• Year — select the year

  This is filtered so it only displays from the start of the Time Dimension to the current General Ledger year.

• Company — select one or more companies

• Show Graphs — if the Multi Period layout is selected, select whether to display or hide a line graph that shows % GP to Revenue, % Expenses to Revenue, % EBITDA to Revenue, and % Net Income to Revenue

• Show % Columns — specify whether or not to display the percentage columns

What can I do in the report?

Select Summary or Detail to view the summary or detail version of the report.

You can filter by Period, Year, Show % Columns, and Show Graphs.

Right-click any of the drill-down links and select Open link in new tab to view the data in pxiPronto Xi.
