What is in this report?
gl05Selected transactions by General Ledger account or transaction reference, for a selected date range.
Used for auditing and reconciliation purposes.
How do I use it?
Sort options:

Sort by — sortArrange elements of a list in a certain order. The most-used orders are numerical order and lexicographical order. and groupIn security, a list of users or other groups that can be used to assign access permissions and capabilities. Groups can be referenced from other authentication sources or can be local to Pronto Xi Business Intelligence. Local groups are managed from BI Administration. The list of groups that an authentication user is a member of is part of the user's passport for an Pronto Xi Business Intelligence session. In reporting, grouping is the action of organising common values of query item together and only displaying the value once. Headers and footers often appear after each instance of a common value in a grouped column the reportA set of data deliberately laid out to communicate business information. FiltersSelectively remove data from view. include:

Show Accounts with No Transactions — specify whether or not to show accounts with no transactions

Show Outstanding References Only — display only transactions for references that do not balance to zero, regardless of the Sort by selection
This allows for reporting on accounts like GRNI.

Posting Date Selection — search by posting date or posting date range

Transaction Date Selection — for the transaction date, select a period on which to report
This defaults to General Ledger period to date.

GL Account Code — search by General Ledger account or enter the account or account range

Batch Reference — search by batch reference code, batch reference keyword, or batch reference range
Other filters include Special Account, Transaction Type, Natural Account, Tracking Type, and User Name.
What can I do in the report?
You can sort by account code or transaction reference.
You can filter by Transaction Date Selection, Show Outstanding References Only, and Show Accounts with No Transactions.
