Upgrade requirements for hierarchy-based Inventory and Plant reports

For customers upgrading to Business IntelligenceBusiness Intelligence, often referred to as BI, refers to the skills, processes, technologies, applications and practices used to support decision making. This is also the name of the Pronto Xi BI module. version 750, note the naming changes to the following Inventory and Plant hierarchies in their respective Obsolete folders:

• Item Reporting Hierarchy

  This is located in the Inventory packageA subset of data objects for a project. It is typically a sub-set of a model (or can be the entire model) and is specifically created for publishing to the Pronto Xi Business Intelligence server. Packages provide data, modelled simply for end-users, for creating reports, analyses, and ad hoc queries. Within Pronto Xi Business Intelligence we have two distinct types of packages, with different content and purpose: Reporting packages Analytics packages.

  This is now named Item Reporting Hierarchy 0.

• Plant Reporting Hierarchy

  This is located in the Plant package.

  This is now named Plant Reporting Hierarchy 0.

• Plant Item Branch Reporting Hierarchy

  This is located in the Plant package.

  This is now named Plant Item Branch Reporting Hierarchy 0.

These name changes have been made to avoid the same name being used in the top levelIn a hierarchy, a level indicates a group of common or related members. For example, in a Time level, members may include Year, Month, Day or Fiscal Year, Calendar Year, etc. 750 reporting hierarchyIn Analytics Dashboards, regular dimensions contain descriptive and business key information and this information is organised into a hierarchy; from it's highest level of granularity, to its lowest. The hierarchy contains multiple levels. For example, a hierarchy that has three levels such as "All Products", "Product Group", and "Products". names.

If you have existing reports that use these hierarchies, you will need to upgrade these reports by applying the filterSelectively remove data from view. Set Code = 0 to the hierarchy selection.
